I don't know if it's as it was when I was a younger kid, but I always loved being here. The food was always good and the staff were incredibly friendly and loving. It was always a nice experience.
Great food!! Made fresh so you are going to wait. We went during lunch and it was super fast. Lots of carry out orders. This is the place to go if you want comfort food. Great place to chill and enjoy a drink
I got there shortly before they closed. They were so accommodating making sure I had everything I needed. When I realized they were closing in just a few minutes I asked for a togo box and thanked them for not rushing me out the door. The food is always excellent there and I wanted to enjoy it slowly. If you have a chance to stop there you won't regret it. I give them 5 stars

This place was great. Food was good but the service and atmosphere was great. It was like eating in your mom's kitchen. Don't go if you're in a rush it's worth it to take the time and enjoy the surroundings

Been going here for 50 years. If your looking for a Mexican place and have time, it's great. A little hole in the wall place. Plan on a couple of hours. The chips and cheese sauce I'd a must to start and I follow up with cheese and onion enchilada and a chicken taco.
Great affordable meals in a comfortable unique “hole in the wall” type restaurant. They do not have the fastest service as it is small, but they do have the BEST service I have ever had. (Very friendly, impressionable, feels like you’re being served by a family member or good friend) Kate and Rosie are some of the nicest people I’ve met since my recent move to Mason City :) I anticipate many more visits here in the future.
